Steve Purcell (he/him) is a communications associate at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) and serves on the communications team for the Region 9 Comprehensive Center (R9CC). Steve also serves as a communications and dissemination team member on various projects at AIR, primarily for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and the Interagency Forums on Child and Family Statistics and on Aging Statistics. Steve develops social media content, drafts newsletters, coordinates website updates, and provides editorial and design support for reports, brochures, and other printed resources. He also has experience in project management and qualitative research.
Before arriving at AIR, Steve was an English language teaching assistant in Rouen, France, and an intern in the University of Pennsylvania’s Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program. He holds a BA in English from Villanova University.
